Visualizing My Experience at Amal Academy

The Amal Fellowship is an amazing learning experience for me in developing my personal and professional goals. I have mixed emotions. One moment I am overjoyed that I have accomplished this amazing adventure with so many achievements, and the next I am sad because I met so many beautiful folks over there. The folks I met were really humble and friendly. It’s a place where you may say anything without fear of being judged. I charged myself with good vibes. Our batch exudes enthusiasm, motivation, and thoughtfulness. I have a few items that constantly remind me of this fellowship. A pen, a notebook, a laptop, and a laptop stand with my blanket. I used all these things in my fellowship.

My Partners

It reminds me of the time when I was selected for the fellowship. I realized that this decision is going to be a life-changing experience for me. After starting from the first week, I was certain that I am in the right place and I will stay here no matter what happens. I met my fellows and teachers, this was a really happy moment for me and when the session started, I was a little bit confused and nervous in the session, but when Mam shifted us to breakout room after discussion and give an activity of drawing cup of tea, I interacted with my fellows in this activity and also try to become a part of this activity. This first week changed my life in only two days. The zero course ‘Knowing Yourself’ was just amazing. I really felt a change in myself because I tried to start to get out of my comfort zone. This was a great achievement for me and the credit goes to my teachers and fellows who encouraged and supported me.

Making a cup of tea activity

I also learnt a new course and gain a knowledge regarding this course and I make notes of this course when making notes I felt calm because the course helped me to write it an effective way to find out the purpose of this course and finally I found out the point of why and what was the purpose and meaning of this word. After completing this course I was able to write my goals and how I achieved them. This was a great achievement for me because I tried to find out the purpose of my life.

Amal Academy taught me a lot, and it’s hard to point out one moment and consider it the greatest experience I’ve ever had. After 30 minutes of consideration, my mind agreed to write about the acts of kindness I experienced during my first week at Amal.

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for a newer and richer experience.” (Eleanor Roosevelt)

I had a different mentality at the beginning of the journey, which may have been related to an immature self-grooming technique. I had no clue that a person with hidden talents might entice others to climb the rungs of achievement( I realized when I arranged the fee of my folk in university). I felt guilty when cleaning my flat having rubbish and waste yet it was a time of joy for me because I had been thinking outside the box.

Acts reflect your Personality

I am now on a journey to spread kindness

As far as my current scenario is concerned, I have dealt with 20+ students for their career guidance is being done for their luminous future. This is a thing that has bigger means for their future and I don’t think so there is an act of kindness overlapping guidance in the right direction free of cost. This initiative and 3 hours of the life of people may bring a change of generations.

This wonderful act of kindness also keeps me on track with studying and approaching what can be done more for Homo sapiens. Whenever I started career guidance with them, a concept of helping the nation arises in my thoughts, which revives all of my senses. It also makes me believe and adhere to what I’ve decided thus far.

Every day challenges you to try to find new things without fear. I can, yes I can do this creatively.”

In the second week, circles are created for fellows and after joining, it is a little bit difficult for me to communicate with them, but my fellows are so cooperative and that encourages me to participate in groups. That group discussion experience was awesome and I learned some creative tips. Group discussion and teamwork is a part of your success. Try to engage with fellows when you are working with a team or a group because Ek or Ek gyarah is a strength of your work.

Group discussion with circle members

I experienced during the first two weeks that there is actually a whole world of things that I need to learn and the process of learning never stops. One important lesson which I learned during the first two weeks was that it’s never too late to learn new things. I also realized that in order to learn new things, sometimes it is necessary to learn the whole things which are unproductive. I saw changing my own myself and getting out of my comfort zone learning a lot of new things. And live a life of immersion all credit goes to my Mentors Sir Raza Talpur and Mam Rohma Shahzad and also my whole batch.

Impact In Future

I had these kinds of sentiments and motivations, but they needed to be sharpened. The AMAL gave this sharpener, which I absolutely like. Once I’ve achieved my goals, I’d love to continue the habit of kindness permanently. To illustrate, I will provide free career counseling to kids because I believe that 5 acts of kindness have served their purpose. Furthermore, the motive of sharing was the same. So, once again, my nerves give way to greater thankfulness.

To be honest, these two weeks impacted on not just my life, but also my eternity. Saqlain Aziz

Thanks, Amal

Finally, but not least, I was wondering why people write lengthy paragraphs after finishing this fellowship. Now, I understand what they’re feeling. There is so much to say, and you convey it all with your words. Thank you Allah Almighty for introducing me to these amazing people, allowing me to join the Amal Academy journey, become a part of this wonderful journey, learn something incredible, and discover a lot of things along the route, most notably myself. Ah…That’s all.

Thank You again for this wonderful journey.
